IRONY IN HEALTHCARE INSURANCE

1. Obamacare signup period has been cut in half, from 12 weeks to 6, starting Nov. 1.

2. Obamacare advertising budget was cut by 90%, even though a lot of people erroneously think it has already been repealed.

3. Insurance companies were forced to send out notices of premium increases before subsidies were set, which means a lot of people got letters indicating prohibitive cost of their insurance for 2018 when, in fact, many of them would not pay any more than they did for 2017, once their subsidies are applied.

4. The single biggest cause of individual bankruptcy is the inability to pay medical bills.
